Excellent communication skills are necessary for success in all areas of life. Speech and Drama is not only for students who enjoy performing, but also for those who would like to build confidence when performing and presenting.
Public speaking and communication skills are developed through learning presentation techniques. Students are equipped with clear articulation, pronunciation and vocal expression techniques.
Tuition in Acting focuses on the vocal and physical expression for performance including mime, movement, characterization, staging, improvisation and engagement with a range of dramatic literature. Poetry and prose recitation, monologues, and play scenes are utilized to develop students vocal and performance technique.
Our students will have the opportunity to perform in a yearly performance and participate in Speech and Drama Eisteddfods.
